About Natural Boutique
Natural Boutique is an ethical skincare company and an online resource for information on natural health and beauty.
It is run by Emily Webber, a former journalist turned complementary therapist based near York, and Lucy Rigley, a former BBC employee who now works as a freelance web-designer in London.
We wanted to draw attention to brands that are popular among holistic therapists; packed with really high quality, natural ingredients and sumptuous oils that only add to your beauty and well-being, don’t take away like most synthetic products.
Our suppliers are also conscientious about where and how they source their essential oils and other ingredients within their products.
As well as being passionate about our natural skincare ranges, we are equally concerned by the health implications of some of the chemicals we accumulate in our bodies from synthetic products. Many have been linked to immune-system deficiencies, allergies and cancer.
We feel that chemicals like propylene glycol are fine in products like anti-freeze and brake fluid, but have no place in baby wipes and soap.
Emily also wanted to share her knowledge gained as a complementary therapist to help people take care of their own beauty and well-being.
Blogs and online articles cover topics such as salt bathing, head massage and what to look for when buying skincare products.
Send us your opinions, reviews, natural beauty tips, questions; anything. We’d love to hear from you!
